About the Journal

JIPPM: Jurnal Ilmiah Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat (e_ISSN : 2775-7145 & p_ISSN : 3030-9298) is a journal published by the Department of Agricultural Extension, Halu Oleo University. The Jurnal Ilmiah Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat its first volume in 2021 on OJS 2 (https://ojs.uho.ac.id/index.php/JIPPM), and since 2024 has migrated to a new domain, OJS 3 (https://jippm. uho.ac.id/index.php/e_penyuluhan). The Jurnal Ilmiah Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat is a vehicle for the publication of scientific writings or works from the results of research and development in the field of agricultural extension.

 

JIPPM: Jurnal Ilmiah Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology with the ranking of Sinta (S5) SK NO. 79/E/KPT/2023, dated May 11, 2023 which is valid for 5 (five) years since it was approved in 2023 in Vol. 1 No. 1, 2021 to Vol. 5 No. 4, 2025.

JIPPM : Jurnal Ilmiah Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat is published to communicate research results on agriculture in various fields in micro, messo as well as macro scopes. The focus and scope of The Jurnal Ilmiah Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat, including :

Peer Reviewer Process

There are at least two reviewers for each text on the related topic in the review process. In addition, the author can also propose prospective reviewers. Judgment from the first reviewer will be the top priority for editors to make decisions if there are only two reviewers. In the case of three reviewers, decisions will be made by at least two. It takes three weeks for the reviewer to complete the one-round review process.

In general, observer candidates will be selected based on their reputation in the number and quality of international publications. In the next step, the Editor sends an invitation letter to each observer candidate. After the review candidates inform their availability for the review process, the Editor creates an account for each reviewer and then sends the manuscript by OJS.

After the review, the editor can revise the paper without changing the substance and content. Articles sent by the author must be in the form of an original text and not be considered for publication by other journals or publishers.

All review processes are double-blind peer reviews and managed by editors at OJS.

 

Publication Frequency 

JIPPM: Jurnal Ilmiah Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat is published by the Department of Agricultural Extension at Haluoleo University in four annual issues: March, June, September, and December. 

 

Article Publication Fee

JIPPM : Jurnal Ilmiah Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan Masyarakat charges the author as follows.

  1. Article Submission: 0.00 IDR. Authors are NOT required to pay the Article Submission Fee.
  2. Article Publication: Once your submission is ready to be published, the author has to cover publication costs for IDR 400.000.

Bank account numbers will be provided when the manuscript is accepted.
