PENGARUH DORONGAN INTERNAL DAN MOTIF SOSIAL TERHADAP MINAT PEMUDA BEKERJA PADA SEKTOR PERTANIAN DI DESA WATAREMA KECAMATAN LAMBUYA

Abstract

The influence of internal and social motives on the interest of youth in the agricultural sector in Watarema Village, Lambuya District, Konawe Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of internal encouragement and social motives on the interest of youth to work in the agricultural sector in Watarema Village, Lambuya District, Konawe Regency. This research was conducted in June-February 2025. The respondents who became the object of this research amounted to 34 people. The 34 respondents are youth / in the village who are directly involved in agricultural activities. The sampling technique was purposive (intentional). The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%. The types and sources of data for this study used primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation methods. Research variables include: Dependent variable (Y) The dependent variable in this study, namely, youth interest in working in the agricultural sector, includes feelings of pleasure, attention, awareness and willingness. And independent variables (X) In this study, the independent variables are, internal encouragement, including competence, relatedness and autonomy. And social motives include, social motivation, social learning and social identity. The results showed that internal locus of control and social motives have a very significant positive influence. This means that this shows that if the higher the internal drive and social motives, the higher the increase in youth interest in working in the agricultural sector in Watarema Village Lambuya District Konawe Regency.
